Mississippi native Tyra Ivory has become one of the youngest Subway franchise owners in the nation after purchasing one of the fast-food restaurant’s locations. Since utilizing the Community Students Learning Center’s Community Navigator Pilot Program, Tyra has applied for several grants and attended zoom calls to assist her in building her business development skills.  Tyra Ivory, Subway Owner

Hampton was determined to keep his business afloat. He applied for the COVID-19 EIDL Targeted Advance and the Supplemental Targeted Advance. He was approved for both grants, totaling $15,000. He used the funds to help renovate the vacated space impacted by COVID. The Garrette’s are the owners of A & I Transportation Services. They will provide medical and private transportation services to client within a 150-mile radius of Holmes and surrounding counties.
