Affordable Housing Program

“Buying a home is a powerful decision, and it remains at the heart of the American Dream. Unlike renting, owning a home means more than just having a place to live – it offers a sense of belonging, stability, and freedom.”

According to Nicole Bachaud, Senior Economist at Zillow:”

Being a homeowner has long been seen as essential to realizing the American Dream since it represents stability, freedom, and self-worth in addition to financial success. This vision has evolved throughout the centuries and has historical roots that are firmly ingrained in the identity of America.

FHLB/BankPlus Housing

Since 2011, CSLC has worked with BankPlus and Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas to restore homes for seniors and disabled families in Holmes, Carroll, Leflore, and Humphrey counties.

Our collective efforts, fueled by the $2.2 million in grants received by CSLC Affordable Housing, have resulted in the restoration of over 250 homes. This significant achievement is a testament to the impact of our partnership with BankPlus and FHLB Dallas, and it is something we can all take pride in.
